The Wonderful World of Golf

Our 18-hole golf course, inaugurated at the end of 2017, emerged adapting to the existing terrain at the edge of the Caribbean Sea. PGA Ocean's 4, is located on the south coast of the country, about 100 km east of Santo Domingo and 30 km from the popular resort of La Romana. Its location is key, at equal distance from the country's capital and the tourist area of Punta Cana.

The course opened in 2002 and borders a nature reserve. Designed by Gary Player, the 18-hole Guavaberry Golf & Country Club golf course is located just 30 minutes east of Santo Domingo's international airport in the resort town of Juan Dolio. Although it has earned a reputation for being very difficult, players of all levels are welcome thanks to its set of five tees. The club has complete facilities such as a swimming pool, restaurant and a private beach club.

Located at Juan Dolio's Metro Country Club -just a 30-minute drive east of Santo Domingo's international airport- the 18-hole course features numerous artistic bunkers and lakes and mounds that perfectly complement the surrounding beauty of the Caribbean Sea. The clubhouse also offers a restaurant, a terrace bar and grill, a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a pro store and locker rooms. A private beach blub is only five minutes away.

Just 20 minutes from the city of Santo Domingo, immersed in a natural reserve is our Cayacoa with an 18 hole par 72 golf course designed by Jack Corrie, Club House, Pro Shop, restaurants and swimming pools. With a Flora that in 30% of our occupation is destined to forest reserve, between holes 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, where no human activity is allowed that affects the ecosystem and the lagoons, which occupy more than 60,000 m2 and tributaries of the Isabela River. We are a group of professionals specialized in the different areas that we consider necessary for an adequate management, and we have a common objective, which is to improve and modernize the Club, maintaining the essence of its history, without jeopardizing its future, trying to satisfy the different needs of the members as best as possible.

A city golf course with panoramic views of Santiago, the Cibao Valley and the Yaque del Norte River. It was designed by Pete Dye in the same period in which he completed his masterpiece Teeth of the Dog, in La Romana. With uphill and steep slopes to challenge golfers, it has four par 3 holes, two par 5 holes and 12 par 4 holes. Although it is a fairly short course, the narrow fairways, small greens and numerous traps, along with the course's 135 rating, make it one of the most difficult in the country.

It is an ideal course for players of all levels, but still offers something of a challenge. With a location just a 15-minute drive from the Puerto Plata airport, golfers can even play the same day of their arrival or departure.
